The South Wolds Academy and Sixth Form
Admissions Policy for September 2014 Governors have committed to increasing the admissions number if necessary to ensure that every student who attends a link primary school or who has a sibling at the Academy is able to gain a place if South Wolds is their first choice school.
Admissions Policy for September 2013 is available for download at the end of this page. Late applications are welcome, please contact Chris Broughton in school office who can explain to you who this should application should be made to.
We are proud to serve the families from these link primary schools: Bunny, Candelby Lane, Cotgrave CofE, Crossdale, Keyworth, Tollerton, Kinoulton, Willoughby and Willow Brook. Students also attend from many other Primary Schools including Ruddington St Peters. We are also lucky to work with families outside of these areas - this currently includes students from Nottingham City, West Bridgford, Bingham and Leicestershire. South Wolds is once again over subscribed against numbers in our catchment area. If you have been offered a place then you can find out more about the transition process by clicking here. If you still wish to apply for a place in Year 7 2013 then please contact the school office for more information.
Is your child in Years 5 or 6 and you want to find out more about the school?
Unfortunately you have missed the Academy open evening which was on the 20th September. However, if your child is currently in Year 5 or 6 and you would like to have a look around school then please contact our Admissions Officer Chris Broughton (Tel. 0115 9373506 ext 127 or e-mail cbroughton@southwolds.notts.sch.uk) who will arrange an appointment for you.
Are you looking for a mid-year transfer to the school?

If you are considering applying for a place in Year 7-11 then you need to know that all of these applications must be made directly to the Local Authority.
