Tetanus, Diphtheria & Polio (Td/IPV) & Meningitis ACWY Immunisations
As part of the NHS National Immunisation schedule, free Tetanus, Diphtheria & Polio (Td/IPV) and Meningitis ACWY immunisations are being offered to all students in Year 9 at
The South Wolds Academy on Thursday 26th February 2026.
Most children have been immunised against Tetanus, Diphtheria & Polio and Meningitis C as part of the childhood UK schedule. Guidance from NHS England recommends that your child now receives a booster dose of Tetanus, Diphtheria & Polio and Meningitis ACWY.

What you need to do
Please complete the link below to give consent for the vaccinations, this will close on 12th February 2026. If you do not wish your child to have the immunisations, you can complete a refusal via the same link.

Please be aware that if we do not receive either a completed consent form or a refusal, each young person will be individually assessed by a healthcare professional to self-consent on the day. If they are deemed Gillick competent, they may be offered the vaccination.
